Sometimes it's great to look back in life and review your historical accomplishments, but I am trying not to dwell in the past.  I've met a lot of people who spend most of their time and conversations on, "what used to be" or "what could have been." As I embark in this year of change, my focus is on the now and future.  So for those of you who spend more time looking up past friends and exs on facebook fantasizing on "what could of happen...," just STOP.   Internet surfing can be an addiction.  Just try and avoid the internet for a day or two without doing anyone on it and you will know what I mean.  Focus on what you can do now and you will be happier and calmer.

It's such a great bargain to go to the local library book fair and find some good deals for books.  Have you ever shopped at library book fairs?  Another great way to get books is scouring garage sales.

I've read about conserving energy and money by hanging up my laundry instead of using the dryer, so I've decided to go ahead and try it.  I always thought that it might be too time consuming but actually it only took about fifteen minutes to hang up all of the clothes and voila!  it's done.  I think this is almost as painless as buying and using energy efficient light bulbs.
