Remember your college days when your friend with the car was about to make a trip to the grocery store? How everyone got so excited and joined in as if it was a great big party? Well, we can all learn from our college days. In addition to not needing to wash clothes after a single use (thanks to my college experience), there are other eco-friendly lessons to learn. There are so many things that are part of my regular purchases such as: eggs, milk, toilet paper, bread, cereal and fruit. I started saving money by sharing a wholesaler club membership with a friend. We split the annual cost of the membership and buy our regular products in bulk. This is a money saving strategy and is also great for the environment since it reduces packaging of individual items and also reduces the amount of car trips I need to drive to the grocery store. The only caution I have for those of you who want to try this is not to over-purchase any of your items.

I share my Sam's club membership with my mom. It's a great deal. I agree, don't overstock on stuff you don't need.
